Quel enseignement des plantes au 21e siècle ? Quelques perspectives didactiques

Abstract : By exploiting the energy of the Sun, plants are the basis of life (food) on Earth. However, compared to the animal world, the plants have long been seen as belonging to a world less accomplished and little worthy of interest. Plants are holder of multidisciplinary knowledge (biology, chemistry, physical, ecology...), their study as a basis of a botanical culture is at the crossroads of political, economic, social and educational issues. Against this context of plant blindness and lack of interest towards plants as living being populating ecosystems, the question arises of how design a teaching of plants that can meet the challenges of the 21st century about human food, health and environment.
