High pressure promoted dearomatization of nitroarenes by [4+2] cycloadditions with silyloxydienes

Abstract : Simple nitroarenes such as nitronaphthalenes and nitroquinolines smoothly undergo dearomatizing [4+2] cycloadditions with silyloxydienes under 16 kbar.
