Convergent access to mono-fluoroalkene-based peptidomimetics

Abstract : Expeditive racemic synthesis of monofluoroalkene peptide isosteres from aldehydes and substituted aromatic sulfones is reported. The olefination reaction is highly Z -selective from substituted aldehydes to afford transoid peptide mimic precursors.
