Analyse de l’influence des représentations individuelles sur les modalités de pratique en longe-côte. Vers une perception de l’environnement marin génératrice d’une socialisation hybride basée sur l’aventure, le nomadisme et l’éveil

Abstract : The longe-côte is an activity originally intended as physical preparation for rowers. Since 2010, it has gradually been transformed into a well-being activity. Although some studies have been able to demonstrate the physiological benefits of an aquatic activity such as coastal sailing, no study has demonstrated the effect and representations of the marine environment on the fears, the reasons for practicing it or the expectations of the practitioner during the first sessions. However, the environment in which the sport is practiced plays a fundamental role in the perception of the practitioner. This exploratory study combining field observation with semi-structured interviews attempts to analyse the connections that can be generated in the context of this booming sport. The empirical approach used in this research is based on observations and semi-structured interviews that allow for a more detailed understanding of the determinants of a hybrid practice of longe-côte based on the awakening of the senses, adventure and nomadism. The individual’s grip on his practice environment generates a particular perception and attention to perceived risk and learning situations.
