Chercheur-e - Militant-e. Plaidoyer pour un « tiers construit »

Abstract : In resonance to the symposium “Research(s) / Militancy(s)”, this article uses a metaphorical analysis, sometimes with forced or ironic strokes, to propose a structure in three scenes, in the theatrical sense of the term, in which the relations between research and militancy are put into play and questioned. Thus, in the amphitheatre of a scientific conference, “Researcher/Militant” tries to open a new path, in the multipurpose room which hosts a Trade Union Congress, “Militant” tries to demonstrate the interest of research while, following the failure of their attempts, they decide to join their forces in the service of the co-elaboration of a “third-constructed” epistemological space.
This space corresponds to the beginning of the theorizing a third way and the sketching of a new figure of the researcher, which gives the text a political dimension by identifying three levels of issues: the individual level of the teacher-researcher in Educational Sciences, the level of the project of our Research Units and the level of discipline and the community of Educational Sciences.
