Abstract : The aim of this article is to study the Aftermath of War in the French colonial empire via the examples of projects willing Bizerte to play a key role in developing economy of North Africa.Through the particular case of an arsenal harbor, this article ains at interrogating the relationships between French Navy and French Empire, naval institution and economic world, and in a wider approach, civil world and military world
