Résumé

Thasian magistrates from the Fourth Century BC and the Macedonian Kingdom This article presents a synthesis of the structure and the history of the four monumental lists of Thasian magistrates. The first two were inscribed by 360 BC and then added to over a period of forty years. The next two began to be inscribed around 320 BC : they repeat the content of the first lists and were subsequently kept up to date until the imperial period. These inscriptions are the subject of a full republication, still in progress. The block Recherches I, 36, which belongs to the Grande Liste des théores, should be placed in the fourth-century columns. In this article the focus is on a section datable to 334-326. Among the theôroi is a certain Aristoleôs who is most likely the leader of the partisans of Philip II (Dem. XVIII, 296). A newly-found altar of ‘King Philip Sôter’ shows how Thasos became part of the Macedonian hegemony. The inscribing of the two ‘grandes listes’ should be placed in the same context.
