L’introduction des « classes virtuelles » synchrones, un moyen de renforcer la qualité de l’accompagnement en formation d’adultes ?

Abstract : The object of this research is the introduction of a synchronous “virtual classroom” into a hybrid learning system of the Masters degree “Métiers de la formation” of the University of Rouen. In 2010/2011 a new body of students orientated towards the teaching professions was added to our traditional body of students which consisted of professionals in business training. This led us to reconsider the development of the support system of the evolution of the teaching and learning practices. The main idea is that using a synchronous “virtual classroom” such as “Adobe Connect”, can be complementary to face to face group meetings. It can also support quality tutoring for the distant students, or students who are unable to attend the face to face group meetings.
