Blind Identification and Equalization of MC-CDMA Systems Using Higher Order Cumulants

Résumé

In this work we propose an algorithm based on fourth order cumulants for identification of the linear system (Finite- Impulse Response (FIR)) with Non Minimum Phase (NMP) excited by non-Gaussian sequences, independent identically distributed (i.i.d). In order to test its efficiency, we have compared with the Safi et al. algorithm, for that we considered three practical frequency-selective fading channel, called Broadband Radio Access Network (BRAN A, BRAN B, and BRAN D), normalized for MC-CDMA systems. In the part of MC-CDMA, we use the zero forcing (ZF) and the minimum mean square error (MMSE) equalizers to perform our algorithms. The simulation results show that the bit error rate (BER) performances of the downlink MC-CDMA systems, using proposed algorithm (AlgoZ) is more accurate compared with the results obtained with the Safi et al. (Alg-CUM) algorithm.
