Enseignants-chercheurs et activité de direction de mémoire de recherche à distance : entre obstacles et développement professionnel des enseignants-chercheurs ?

Abstract : This article recounts a study carried out on master thesis supervision of students enrolled in a professional master in educational sciences. It addresses the issues of institutional, organisational and identity changes induced by introducing distance learning in a traditional programme. Training by and through research is addressed by analysing the accounts of the teachers involved in this hybrid master course designed for students in South East Asia. This then leads to understanding the needs in terms of professional development of the supervisors overseeing the distant students master dissertation.
