LA LONGUE QUÊTE DU BON TRAVAIL. LE CAS DE PERSONNES HANDICAPÉES DU FAIT DE TROUBLES MENTAUX

Abstract : Employment but also labour have become more precarious these last decades. By reaffirming the role of labour in ensuring the social integration of disabled people, the law of February 11, 2005 lays itself open to criticism. This paper aims at understanding what position labour has in the lives of people who are disabled owing to mental disorders by following them over several years. The first part is devoted to presenting the investigation mechanism, the salient features of the population under scrutiny. The second part deals with breakdowns in training or work and the new conditions of their lives. The third one shows that beyond the diversity of their paths they tend to go in quest of a job which makes it possible for them to take care of themselves.
