Combining the Contingent Valuation Method with Citizen Advisory Committees

Abstract : Contingent valuation method: economic technique of valuation for nonmarket resources, which wishes to measure utility of public goods or programs and found public decisions upon consumers’ revealed preferences. Citizen advisory committees: groups of persons built to be representative of citizens concerned by certain public policy and contribute to their elaboration and implementation by their active participation in evaluating public-making processes
