Abstract : Abstract :
For many Western consumers, the consumption of insects is often associated with a primitive and disgusting behavior. The exploratory studies conducted on adult European consumers, reveal many obstacles and motivations for this type of consumption. We have tried to understand the perception of children through a qualitative study conducted on 44 French children aged between 6 and 12. The aim of our study is to understand the perception of children through the study of brakes and motivations for insect consumption.
