Improving collaborative jobs in P2P networks
Abstract
To improve collaborative jobs in peer-to-peer networks, we introduce a "JobPeerGroup". We need such a peer group to have more homogeneous peers able to distribute synchronous or asynchronous collaborative applications. To insure a better robustness, reliability and calculations time, the different peers belonging to this group are chosen by a selective way. In this paper we present the fundamental characteristics of a JobPeerGroup. We also present a general procedure for the design of an efficient JobPeerGroup and its implementation in the JXTA Project.
