Chimie éclair - Synthèse microfluidique ultra-rapide

Abstract : Consecutive competitive reactions are frequently encountered in organic synthesis, negatively affecting the efficiency (selectivity and yield) of a target reaction. In the case of very fast reactions (< 1 min), the mixing speed of the reagents becomes an essential factor that conventional batch conditions fail to adjust. This article presents the advantages of flow synthesis technology, and more specifically microfluidics, to achieve exceptional mass transfers and to control reaction times up to a few milliseconds. This "flash" chemistry allows successful access to reactions that are inaccessible under normal conditions.
