Meursault, contre-enquête : un "premier" roman ?

Abstract : Kamel Daoud’s column « Le Contre-Meursault ou l’« Arabe » deux fois tué » (Le Monde, March 9, 2010) has produced the matter of Meursault, contre-enquête (2013). The back cover of the novel, a text published in Algiers by Barzakh, differs somewhat from that of Actes Sud and tells how the historical and editorial context modifies the interpretation of the intertextual relationship with L’Étranger and reveals the ambiguous relationship between the former colonizing country and the decolonized nation, on both levels of reference and reverence.
