Enjeux de la différenciation selon le genre dans l’accompagnement collectif de la femme potentiellement créatrice

Abstract : The aim of this article is to identify the issues of gender-based differentiation in the collective training of the potential female entrepreneur. Thanks to an abductive approach, we show that the establishment of female collectives, in the ante-creation phase, generates self-confidence. The benevolent, empathic and non-competitive nature of the all-female group facilitates, for some potential female entrepreneurs, the deconstruction of gender stereotypes on female entrepreneurship and reduces the feeling of guilt related to the difficulty to reconcile entrepreneurial project and family life. In other words, the participation of the potential female entrepreneur to an all-female group answers a psychological need for external approval that may be lacking, especially within the family. However, the practice of all-female collective training in the ante-creation phase has certain limits. The latter result from the importance attached by some women to the establishment of a gender-equal environment for sharing various entrepreneurial experiences and developing business networks.
