Synthesis of new associative gel microspheres from carboxymethyl pullulan and their interactions with lysozyme

Abstract

The paper describes the synthesis of crosslinked pullulan gels bearing anionic groups and hydrophobic palmitoyl groups on the polymer backbone. Their interaction with lysozyme was studied, following the influence of the anionic and/or hydrophobic group content.
