On 19 and 20 May 2016, an international Symposium was organised by the Institut du droit international des transports (IDIT) and the Université of Rouen Normandie in Rouen, to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the adoption of the Convention on the Contract for the International Carriage of Goods by Road (CMR). The Symposium was entitled : "60ème anniversaire de la Convention CMR (Convention internationale relative au contrat de transport international routier de marchandises du 19 mai 1956): Application par les États-parties : quelles divergences ? - Perspectives de droit comparé". Cécile Legros and Frédéric Letacq directed the collection and supervision of the proceedings.
