This portrait aims to shed light on the trajectories of Iman Aoun and Edward Muallem from their early years on the stage of El-Hakawati to the creation of their own company: the Ashtar Theatre. It mixes factual elements and subjective points of view in order to expose the theatrical practice according to the founders of Ashtar, and the relationship of Palestinian artists to (inter)national institutions.

Ce portrait vise à éclairer les trajectoires d’Iman Aoun et d’Edward Muallem, de leurs premières années sur les planches d’El-Hakawati à la création de leur propre compagnie : le théâtre Ashtar. Il mêle des éléments factuels et points de vue subjectifs de manière à exposer la pratique théâtrale selon les fondateurs d’Ashtar, et les rapports des artistes palestiniens aux institutions (inter)nationales.
